GET READY FOR 8 OF THE MOST MEMORABLE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE ON A NGORONGORO CRATER & SERENGETI SAFARI.
Warmly welcomed into either Kilimanjaro International Airport enjoy days on a Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti Safari. Take time to relax and take in the stunning views from the rim overlooking the crater before descending 600 meters down into and across the crater floor. Over the next few days, you’ll be able to see a variety of wildlife and have a picnic lunch by the lake with amazing bird life on offer.
Departing the Ngorongoro crater, you’ll pass through a Masai village before arriving in the Serengeti. Spend the next few days on an unforgettable Serengeti Safari exploring ‘big cat country’, driving amidst the kopjes and acai trees on a variety of breathtaking game drives.

Kilimanjaro
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our competent drivers to give you a warm welcome. Then transfer to Arusha Planet Lodge where you can relax after your long flight prior to your Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Safari.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast take an excursion enroute to the Ngorongoro crater. First is Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre. This center boasts of various carvings, paintings, gemstones, artifacts, clothing and books. Perfect for souvenirs of your travels.
Your next stop visits a Masai Village. Here you are welcomed by the tribe in beautiful bright colors and impressive jewelry. Then get to join in their cultural dances before being given a tour of the village.
The last stop is at the Tanzanite Experience. In this fabulous museum learn how Tanzanite is mined and turned into jewelry. There is also amazing jewelry for sale if you wish to buy some.
Later you will arrive at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge around 2:00 Pm for a late lunch. Check in and spend the afternoon relaxing before tomorrow’s full day game drive. You may wish to relax buy the pool, restaurant, bar or private verandah with stunning views of the coffee plantation and forests.

Ngorongoro Crater
Today after a delicious buffet breakfast depart for a full day game drive on the floor on the Ngorongoro crater.
Descend 600m down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, which is home to extremely large populations of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, but also high numbers of lion and hyena.
Other animals found in the Ngorongoro crater include black rhino, leopard, hippopotamus, eland, elephant, cape buffalo, warthog, flamingos, ostrich, zebra and much more.
Around midday have a picnic lunch by the lake which has amazing birdlife, you can also see hippos in the distance of the lake. Later return to our lodge around 4:00 PM

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast check out of Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge and pass through the scenic great rift valley on the drive to the Serengeti.
Around midday, arrive at the Serengeti gate and have a picnic lunch before commencing on your first Serengeti Safari towards your next three nights’ accommodation at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Around 4:00 pm arrive at Serengeti Sopa lodge and relax before dinner.

Serengeti National Park
Known affectionately as ‘big cat country, the central region of the Serengeti is the park’s most visited region. The Central Serengeti boasts the best opportunity to see big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.
The presence of these predators in no way dissuades herbivores from calling the region home, and visitors can expect to see everything from diminutive impala to towering elephants and giraffes as they drive amidst the kopjes and acacia trees.
On each of these days we have unforgettable Serengeti Safari which will either take two game drives which take place after breakfast between 8:00am – 12:00pm and late afternoon from 3:30pm – 6:30pm or a full day game drive from 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Departure
After breakfast take one last short game drive before a short late morning flight from Serengeti to Kilimanjaro for your afternoon departure flight.
You may wish for an extension in Kilimanjaro or even spend a few nights in Zanzibar. Please contact us for quotes or if you have any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can bring children, however I recommend my tours for children aged 12 and over, due to the long days and unfamiliar conditions.
We recommend you bring the following on your tour:
- Strong, non-slip walking shoes
- Hat (wide-brimmed is best)
- Flynet
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Camera
- Casual and comfortable clothing
We have a maximum of 14 people on the tour. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. We try to keep 4-5 people per vehicle to avoid your safari being crowded.
We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request at time of booking: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free.
If you have a food allergy (e.g. peanuts), please advise at the time of booking and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
Meals are included but drinks and tips are not. You can pay for drinks with a credit card or cash in most locations.
