Spend two nights at the beautiful Tarangire Simba Lodge, with game drives offering opportunities to encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelope and hundreds of bird species.
Next, discover the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Descend approximately 600 metres into this extraordinary natural amphitheatre and search for black rhino, lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebra and vast herds of wildebeest and gazelle, including a full-day safari with a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Then it's time for the legendary Serengeti. Explore the Central and Northern Serengeti, regions renowned for their exceptional concentrations of lions, cheetahs and leopards. Travelling in mid-June, we'll experience the Serengeti as it transitions into the dry season, while the Great Migration moves through the ecosystem on its incredible journey north.
You'll stay at two spectacular Serengeti properties. Serengeti Explorer offers contemporary luxury, private verandas and an infinity pool overlooking the endless plains, while Kirawira Serena Camp provides an elegant classic safari experience high above the Serengeti.
One of the tour's major highlights is our journey towards the Grumeti River, where we'll spend a full day searching for migrating wildebeest and zebra, big cats, hippos and enormous crocodiles. With the right timing and conditions, we may even witness the breathtaking spectacle of a wildebeest river crossing.
Along the way, you'll also experience Tanzania's rich culture with a visit to a Maasai village, as well as discovering the fascinating story behind one of the world's rarest gemstones at the Tanzanite Museum.
From elephants beneath ancient baobabs and black rhinos in Ngorongoro, to lions on the Serengeti plains and the possibility of witnessing the Great Migration at the Grumeti River, this is an unforgettable journey through the very best of Tanzania.
